School Plus Program

School Plus Remediation for school underperformers and dropouts

The School Plus Program is designed to provide Specific Academic Assistance through remedial classes to underperformers, It aims to bridge the gap between current knowledge and the expected level of knowledge for students facing academic challenges. This program also enables children with mild developmental disabilities to attend regular schools.

Objectives

  • The primary objective of the School Plus Program is to empower underperforming students by providing them with the necessary academic support in their education.
  • The secondary objective is to address the issue of school dropouts developing antisocial behavior due to alienation. We aim to promote inclusivity and facilitate their inclusion in mainstream education.
  • We are dedicated to addressing Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), particularly SDG 4 - Quality Education, SDG 8 - Decent Work & Economic Growth and SDG 10 - Reduced Inequalities in the program.

What makes our Program Transformative?

  • Regular assessment is provided to the underperformers to track their progress and adapt strategies based on their requirements.
  • Clinical tools are used to evaluate areas of Learning Difficulties to provide them with a more apt understanding of the concepts.
  • Free-of-cost career guidance is provided to empower students to make informed decisions regarding their careers without getting lost in the ample amount of options.
  • Help the students to deal with societal alienation due to their academic performance. Many underperformers develop antisocial behavioral tendencies which impact their growth and we assist them in being more social and participative.
  • Preventing Academic Disparities by ensuring that no student is left behind in their educational journey and all the students are seeing eye-to-eye.
  • Holistic Development of underperforming students by focusing on academic achievements and daily life skills by building their confidence, persistence, and love for learning and create an environment of informed career choices for all the sections equally.

Methodology

  • Specific Academic Assistance is provided to underperformers who are falling behind their classmates.
  • Individualized curriculum is designed to meet the unique needs of each student by following the learning pace of the student. They are provided with instructional strategies and techniques to eliminate their errors.
  • Essential skills are developed and improved, particularly, Language recovery (reading, writing), Mathematics skills and Basic Computer skills, which form the foundation for their future education along with school text.
  • Cyber Wellness Workshops focus on digital safety and responsible digital media usage to train students.
  • Specialized Career Guidance offers expert guidance to facilitate students in making informed and confident career choices.

School Plus sessions are scheduled from Monday to Saturday and the plan is customized according to the student's needs.

Aadhaar Kaushal

Aadhaar Kaushal is a Vocational Program, aims to create Sustainable Livelihood for the School Dropouts Employable Youths from Below Poverty Line and Youths with Special Needs. Aadhaar Kaushal aligns with the SDG 4 and feels its responsibility to add India’s Demographic Dividend through Vocational Education. It allows these youth to Self-dependency and Life of Dignity.
