ACT2Enable – FAQs for Individual Donors

Is it safe to donate online to ACT2Enable? â–¶

Yes. ACT2Enable’s website is fully secure for online transactions. Payments are processed through a trusted third-party payment gateway recognised by financial institutions under the Government of India.

What communication will I receive after making a donation? â–¶

You will receive an instant acknowledgement email and SMS, followed by a digital receipt after bank reconciliation. Donors also receive programme updates and an annual impact report.

How will my donation be used? â–¶

After reconciliation, the donation is allocated to the specific programme it is meant for. Utilisation is monitored, audited, and outcomes are shared through the annual impact report.

How does ACT2Enable ensure transparency? â–¶

ACT2Enable follows strong principles of good governance with a diligent audit and monitoring mechanism to track and utilise funds responsibly.

Will I receive a tax receipt? â–¶

Yes. Digital receipts are emailed after realisation of the donation, and hard copies are dispatched within 10 working days.

What tax benefits can I claim? â–¶

Donors are eligible for 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, subject to prevailing rules.

Important Government Compliance for Donors â–¶

As per Government of India regulations, donors must provide PAN, residential address, and bank name from which the donation is made. Email ID and phone numbers shared will help us in sharing our information. Eligible donations are reflected in Form 26AS, enabling income tax exemption.

What if I lose my tax receipt? â–¶

A duplicate receipt will be issued upon formal request.

How is donor information protected? â–¶

Donor data is never shared externally and is stored securely with restricted access to authorised staff only.

Do you accept foreign currency donations? â–¶

No. Donations in foreign currency are not accepted.

Is there a minimum donation amount? â–¶

There is no fixed amount. Programme-wise expenditure details are available transparently.

Can I donate in kind? â–¶

In-kind donations are accepted only when there is a specific requirement in any programme.

Can I meet the beneficiary? â–¶

Donors may visit ACT2Enable centres, but direct one-to-one interaction with beneficiaries is discouraged to ensure equity and dignity.
